Peter Philipp, CFA 

Peter Philipp manages the San Francisco office of Cambridge Investment Research.  His nearly 20 years of experience in the financial services industry includes positions at Wells Fargo and Accenture. Peter specializes in comprehensive financial planning and investment management for institutional clients, business owners and high-net-worth individuals.
 
 
 
Peter’s advice and market commentary have been featured in the San Francisco Chronicle and on television. In addition, he serves as an instructor for UC Berkeley’s Financial Planning Program.
 
In 1994, Peter became a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) – the only globally recognized investment designation. This experience sets Peter apart from most other advisors and allows his clients to benefit from advanced institutional-style portfolio management.
 
Peter is a member of the CFA Institute, the American Institute of Philanthropy, and is a board member of Project Open Hand, a San Francisco non-profit. He holds a Masters Degree from the Haas School of Business, and is an Honors Graduate in Political Economy from UC Berkeley.

Rick Holden 
 
Rick Holden is a principal member of the San Francisco office and the resident insurance expert. He specializes in comprehensive insurance planning for individuals and designing benefit programs for businesses. 
 
Rick advises clients on their need for health, life, disability and long-term care coverage. Through his technology resources, he is able to compare multiple carriers to determine the best coverage for clients.  Rick has the ability to take complex concepts, quickly distill the most critical aspects and communicate the results clearly to clients and colleagues.
 
Rick has an extensive background in customer support and technical operations during his 14 years experience at Hewlett Packard. Rick joined Cambridge Investment Research in 2002.

Brian Jeung  
 
Brian Jeung is a Financial Advisor in the San Francisco office of Cambridge Investment Research.  Brian provides his clients with investment advice regarding asset allocation, 401(k) plans, and various other retirement planning needs. Prior to joining Cambridge, Brian worked as a Financial Consultant at Wells Fargo Bank in both the Wealth Management Group and the Commercial Bank.  He was responsible for providing insight and analysis for various business groups within the organization such as Insurance, Investment Management, and National Sales.  
 
 
 
Brian received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of California at Santa Cruz.  A fourth generation San Franciscan, Brian has strong ties to the local community.  In their free time, Brian and his wife enjoy golfing and taking their dogs to the beach.

 Doug McAllister

 
Doug McAllister is an experienced financial consultant with a unique combination of strong business, management and communication skills.  Doug is an Assistant Vice President for Sterling Bank & Trust and heads the bank's business development efforts for California.  He also has extensive experience in working with high-net-worth individuals.
 
Previous to joining Cambridge, Doug was an Account Vice President with UBS Financial Services in San Francisco. At UBS, he developed and managed client investment portfolios with an emphasis on tax efficiency, strategic asset allocation and performance monitoring. 
 
Throughout his career, Doug has been commended for his keen judgment, integrity, market knowledge and focus on client service. He holds a B.A. in Biology from San Francisco State University.

Rachel Wagner
 
Rachel Wagner brings over 20 years’ experience in strategic planning and financial analysis to her work with clients, making her uniquely qualified to identify key issues in complex situations.  She has developed strategies for a broad range of clients, including individuals, small businesses, non-profits, and large corporations, particularly in the technology sector. 
 
Rachel began her career in management consulting for Booz, Allen and Hamilton, based in New York.  Prior to joining Cambridge, from 1999-2003, she served as Director of Strategic Planning and Corporate Development for Agilent Technologies, the $9 billion spin-off of Hewlett Packard Company.
 
Rachel holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Stanford University and a Bachelor’s Degree, magna cum laude, in Economics from Yale University.
She lives in San Francisco with her husband and young son.

Edward Yoo
 
Edward Yoo joined Cambridge Investment Research in 2006. As Client Service Associate, Edward’s responsibilities include monitoring new accounts and transfers, maintenance of our client management software, preparation of reports and forms, and addressing client service questions and issues. 
 
 
At San Francisco State University, Edward is studying business with an emphasis in Finance. Edward joins Cambridge from Sterling Bank & Trust and continues to work closely with the bank. Cambridge provides investment services to Sterling Bank clients.

 
Joel Bello   
 
Joel Bello is a Client Service Associate with Cambridge Investment Research.  Joel’s responsibilities include monitoring new accounts and transfers, maintenance of our client management software, preparation of reports and forms, and addressing client service questions and issues.
 
Joel’s previous experience includes working with the Administrative Office of the Courts in San Francisco.  He holds a B.A. in Sociology from San Francisco State University.
